Steven M. Sweat has been licensed in all state and federal courts in California since 1996. He has been representing aggrieved employees for over 20 years in matters including wrongful termination of employment; discrimination based upon sex, age, medical conditions and physical and mental disabilities; sexual harassment and sex assault in the workplace; wage and hour disputes including failure to pay overtime or provide proper meal and rest breaks; failure to accommodate requests for medical leave; and many other types of employment claims. He has obtained settlements and verdicts including negotiations for severance packages in the millions of dollars during this period. He is the recipient of the “Super Lawyers” distinction, a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, a National Trial Lawyers Top 100 and a member of the California Employment Lawyers Association.
